So to continue my search for a rig that can hold its own for pub gigs without PA support I have a great deal on a 300 watt Eden with 15" speaker....please let me know quick to go forth and purchase?

Good man,actually have a choice between 4x10 or 15'....on my way to test but I presume 15s are the way to go?
Your 100 booze hound pub gigs don't need the extra loudness of 4x10 and your back is better off with a 15 too.
Yeah, but what sort of rock and blues? This style can cover anything from relatively polite to raw and raucous. How loud is your drummer? Does your guitarist use a small combo or a 100 watt half stack?
I do similar bars in the UK and my 15/6 cab struggles sometimes in the bigger venues although we are on the heavier side of rock and I have to compete with two half stacks. Although, personally, I'm not fond of 410s either for their sound or weight, I would be inclined to go for the 410 because you can always turn it down....better to have the extra volume and not need it than need it and not have it.

300e I think,on my way to test it out now.Guitarist played through a combo,and lead singer is acoustic through PA.Drummer can belt the skins alright but we're not too loud...

I would go with the 4X10, no question. Better too much than too little.

The 115 was only in 8 Ohm available, maybe 150W from the E300.
The 410 is 4 Ohm and you get 300W from the E300 in a 400W cab.

The ex410sc4 is rated at 400w, 4 ohms and 62 lbs. The ex115 is 300 w and 41 lbs, it is available in 4 or 8 ohms. The e300 head is rated at 300w at 4 ohms.
You are better of with a 4 ohm cab to maximize the output of your head. The ex410 is bigger and heavier but is more effecient and will be the loudest option. The ex115-4 is the next loudest option and the ex115-8 ohm would be the least loudest.
Given those options I personally would use the 410. 62lbs is manageable and the extra oomph is there if you need it.
