No sound coming from my sansamp

I have a 3 channel Tech21 Sansamp which powers up no problem, but no sound comes out of it (which I found out at the studio as I was about to lay down bass tracks ).
Any suggestions as to why, or if I could fix it myself, or how much it could run me to fix it?

Often this type of fault can be blamed on brain flatulence. Plug in the wrong hole, dodgy cable, volume turned down etc etc.

Tell us what you've tried to troubleshoot the problem and we might be able to suggest something.

I tried all the normal brain flatulence things - cables work fine, checked (and rechecked) that the volume was up on all ends, made sure it was plugged in right, and had put in a brand new battery. Hence, why I'm stumped.

You sure the sound isn't just so mid scooped its inaudible?

Have you tried:
another bass (or even a guitar)?
both the xlr and 1/4" outs?
using a power supply?
powering with phantom power?

Does is work in bypass?

The power isn't the problem, and I don't have the means to try a power supply.
I did try both outs at the studio, and phantom power.
I just tried a few different basses, and my girlfriend's SG, and checked to see if it works in bypass - all to no avail.
I feel like the guy in the Kids In The Hall sketch that tries everything to get his car started, like slamming the refrigerator door!
I'm just hoping it's not going to cost as much, more, or close to as much to fix this thing - because then I'd just go buy another, and have a $200 paperweight (albeit a really cool paperweight!)

In that case I would say it's unlikely to be something you can fix yourself. Tech21 usually mount everything to the PCB (from what I've seen) so probably the only potential loose wires are on the battery clip.

However, you could pop the back off and look for dodgy solder joints on the input/output jacks - if you know what a dodgy solder joint looks like!

I was gonna say you could inspect the jacks for damage, but chances are they aren't visible without gutting the entire circuit from the case.
