Hi everyone, this is my first post on the bass guitar side of things. I have a Carvin 6 string that's got bartolini pickups and an 18v aguilar preamp. I haven't played it in a while and I pulled it out of the closet the other day and it won't make any sound when plugged in. I didn't store it with batteries in and I put in two fresh ones before trying it out. I know it isn't the amp or cables, too.
So my question is, how do I go about finding the problem? Is this something I can do myself or should I take it in? I didn't install the electronics myself, I had a shop do it, and it has worked flawlessly for years. Until now. Thanks!
