Still really enjoying this drive pedal. Super versatile. Bit of a sleeper IMO.
It is super versatile! I've had many different sounds out of it. Small tweaks on the drive, spectrum and bass cut all matter. Super cool little greeny.
Outside of format and extra gain button of the X, I don't think so.
I have an ODR-mini2 that I've tried at both 9v and 18v.
It sounded dirtier at 18.
I think the smaller format, plus consistently sized controls of the mini2 make it the best version.
Great drive at a great price.
The Mini sounds massive. Unless you can find a vintage ODR-B at a good price it’d be my recommendation
The mini2 that I have is a slap upside the head.
I have, and have had, a lot of drive pedals.
This one is under $100 new, and I'd recommend to anyone.
It sits, quite comfortable IMO, next to a $300+ drive pedal that I own.
Since getting this I haven’t had a desire to replace it, but I’m interested to get a mini again to at least compare the two.

Definitely get the mini2.
That bass cut knob is like the special sauce. It makes it very easy to dial in a desirable tone.
Yeah the original mini had a ton of bass, cut seems like it’d be a nice addition. The ODR-B has a ton of bass as well, have to tame it a bit
For me, the bass cut typically sits around the 10 o'clock to noon position.
But, it can also go lower to thicken up a thinner sounding bass.

Wampler belle is a good clone with bass/countour controls
