***? nobody stocks short scale strings?

sure, G.C. sells mustangs and ibanez and gretsch short scale bass guitars . never...EVER
seen one carry a set on the pegboard with the long scale stuff . "we're ordering them"

********. there's never a vacant spot for these "mysterious' strings. i've checked at 4
stores and always the same oral diahhrea . for the last 5 years .

why don't they just 'fess up to the fact that they refuse to carry the proper strings for
instruments that they sell a lot of.?

i buy them online just fine ... but sometimes i don't want to wait a week...

I have a couple of strings sets in short scale I use, the GHS P Flats and the SIT Power Wounds. I just order from juststrings.com or bassstringsonline.com so they will always be on hand when I need them.

Our GC and Sam Ash both sell short scale strings. Granted there isn't much of a selection, but they have them. I had trouble getting medium scale strings other than DA's. I just order mine from either BSO or Amazon.

My Hofner takes medium scale strings, seems medium scale are even more scarce than short scale
