I was playing my Fender j bass today, and when i plugged it into my amp, it was really noisy. Like a mix between a loud hum and craclking, I figured it was my bridge pickup because when i turned it of it stopped. My bass is a squire so its not top of the line, will getting new pickups solve this problem? Or is it something smaller like wiring?
