A "V" with a minor 7 is charted as V7 (a major triad with a flat 7). You wrote it as v7 originally which tells me it's a minor triad because the "v" is lower case.
Well, give the You Tube clip of the original a listen, and catch the top notes of the keyboard part. If it were in the key of C, the notes would be G - A - Bb, over the chords C - F - Gm, which are I - IV - v.
Am I hearing it right?
