Noob question...

I have searched the forum and coulnd't find any topic specific to this.... so here it goes.

Is there a general "rule of thumb" that dictates the order of which you would insert the effect into the signal. Up until here recently I have kept the signal real clean. I little chorus here and there, maybe some reverb, but lately I have discovered the unhealthy addiction to stompboxes, so I have never had enough effects boxes at one given time to worry a whole lot about it, but I think I do now... or do I?

I have:

Boss TU-2 Tuner (I am certain that should be first... I think)
Boss CEB-3 Chorus
EHX Micro POG
Tech21 VT Bass
Tech21 Boost DLA (just ordered this one).
Bass Wah (on the wish list)

In general this is seen as the way you'd order those pedals

Tuner -> Wah -> VT Bass -> POG -> Chorus -> Boost

Although, putting the octave before the distortion can be insteresting & it can be interesting to put your wah before distortion. And I'd put the tuner after the wah, just for ease of setting up the pedal board.
