Noob wiring question

So I've just bought a second SVT410he and now I want to connect it to the first one. Speakon cable in hand but there are 2 speakon in/outputs on the back of each cab. Manual doens't say which is in or out, the cab itself neither.

Can I use the left or right one in any way I want.
Want the 8ohm cabs to become 4ohm, my amp is 4ohm.
Am I doing 'parallel' or doing 'series'?

As the sockets are wired in parallel either will work as an in or an out. The total impedance seen by the amplifier will be 4Ω.
