OK - LOVE his work but that stripe down the center of the fretboard would drive me NUTS! Of course, I'm somewhat obsessive repulsive!

WAY too many tempting choices on the market now!

Since this thread in 2012, I finally ordered and picked up my Cliff Bordwell 6 string with Nordstrand pickups, Nordstrand preamp, and Hipshot hardware. Works great. You would never hear that it's headless. Wish I had this bass when I was still in a band. Very convenient to lug around.
