Norstrand NJ4 vs. fender original 60's reissue pickups

Who knows whats better? i hear good things about both, as one would with pretty much any topic. but still could anyone with experience with these pickups point me in the right direction?

I use Fender Original 60s on both of my JB copies, like it very much.
I found them very well defined with a great range of dynamics. Nice Bottom without being muddy and not harsh on top.

Not the greatest one but it sounds fine with a good vintage vibe.

They're not very hot but as I use them most of the time through a J-Retro preamp it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I'm also a big fan of Nordies and I'll buy a pair of NJ4 for sure.

More low mids with the Fenders. More high mids with the NP4. NP4 is clearer.

allright i think i like the low mids of the fenders better. kinda want a more growly type sound. output really isnt a problem for me, just crank up your pre-amp. thanks for the imput, much appreciated

Oops. Sorry. I responded at 3 a.m. when I couldn't sleep. I am comparing P pickups not J pickups. No experience with Nordstrand J pickups.

I do like my Fender Custom Shops though.
