Hi, I've been around for a bit on TB, but only noticed this "introductions" forum today. Guess I should poke around a bit more, huh?
So I'm just a bass hobbyist. I don't really play in a band, but I've been practicing lately with a drummer and guitar player. It's been a ton of fun, when it works out well, but sometimes things don't quite click. That doesn't deter me from carrying on!
I'm a teacher and architect and live in a beautiful little resort town along the Russian River in Guerneville, California- home to Korbel Champagne and the Russian River Brewing Company (yes, Pliny the Elder is a local beer).
Musically, I'm all over the map. If I had to pick a favorite band, it would have to be The Beatles, but my palette goes way beyond the fab four.
I share my home with my husband of 34 years, and a black feral cat that I've managed to befriend and tame (yes, that's her in my pfp).
