Not a bad halftime show

Sad to say that I'm no longer the target audience for the NFL. Watching other stuff tonight.

I've never been the target audience. I've never liked watching football.

I can watch a baseball game live, but can't handle watching it on TV.

Never really got excited about watching basketball.

Went to a hockey game once. Had great seats, which made it interesting, and thankfully we moved a bit closer right before a puck came flying over the boards and drilled the exact spot we had been sitting. Haven't bothered seeing another one, just because I haven't been motivated to.

Been to a few rodeos. Those can be entertaining.

Motorsports are good. I like those...except for certain series like Formula E or Formula W where it seems like the racing series is more about a cause than something that organically came about.

The "target audiences" bemoaning their being ignored have apparently stopped listening to music if you look at the charts. It's not like Skynyrd is putting out anything new.
I'm not 'bemoaning being ignored'. I did not like it, nor did I dislike it. I watched all of it. I knew some of the performers, some I didn't. The genre does nothing for me, and my disinterest was evident.

I can't post it but I saw a funny picture. A handsome photo of George Strait with the caption...
"When you want a real halftime show let me know."

I actually didn't see the show yet.
George Strait??? Guy sold a lot of records, but he hasn't put one out in 12 years and I've never heard he's some sort of great live performer.

I’m not a huge hip hop guy, (I like some of Snoop and Dre’s early stuff, and dig Kendrick quite a bit.) but that show had way more energy and spark to it then the other shows I’d seen. (J-Lo/Shakira, and Maroon 5).

In fact I thought they made Maroon 5 look like a fourth grade talent show in terms of presentation.

Prince is still the benchmark as far as halftime shows go IMO.

Jeez...I have seen George Strait live...loved his music when I was young but he is a snooze. Garth Brooks put on the best country show I've ever seen back in the day. Honestly, you could tell was a KISS fan...he was Paul Stanley with a cowboy hat

It's not a halftime show until Left Shark makes an appearance:

Yeah, you really can't beat Prince's halftime. Bruno Mars' was pretty good.
