Not bass cleft?!?!

Ok, so about six months ago I'm at a used book sale. I came across a table full of sheet music, it's marked anywhere from $. 25 to $5.00. Even though I am not a music reader I buy some. I get home and look at it and realize, though it was in a box marked bass some of it isn't bass cleft, and some has the bass cleft, but the notes don't match the chord symbols printed on the page. I was glad I only paid a few cent for them. I was reading about music theory and low and behold solved my mystery. First some of the pages are in C cleft and guess what the notes do match the chord. Second the ones that have a bass cleft but don't make sense, the bass cleft is lower on the ledger lines, and if the small amount that was covered where I was reading is correct, is baritone. The last has the bass cleft with a infinite symbol next to it. Near as I can tell this is bass octave. Reading about C cleft I learned I may be able to just move the notes up on the ledger. Can someone elaborate on this?

If so I'll have to let some one else go into detail. When ever I run into something like this I just ignore all except Treble and bass clef. Four part harmony is way over my head.

Well.. not quite. Apparently, the C cleft is movable. It can be moved so it is exactly the same as bass cleft. I solved that myself (there should be one of those emotions patting yourself on the back). Touched on slightly, in this page, you can move the bass cleft with the notes down and it becomes baritone. (Not explained on page.) I also have some handwritten ones with the bass cleft and a slanted 8. These have bass octave written on them. I figure you can maybe move those too?

No cleft is something else. You understand what I mean though. Sorry I got out of high school 40 yrs. Ago. I'm on a tablet that auto-completes words. If it looks ok I go with it. You remind me of this teacher i had. He would catch me every time i looked at the clock on the wall. His words were " time will pass for sure. Are you sure you will pass?" Bass clef you all.

I used to.....a long time ago. I studied music theory in college back in the 70's. But I didn't use it much because I chose civil engineering as a vocation and career. Over the years, my memory of music theory has faded. I wish my memory worked better.

OP: that looks like piano score. you can either ignore the treble clef (crazy figure 8 swirly do on the top line) or you could take this chance to learn both treble while practicing bass clef

That would be Tenor Clef. I remember it from playing bassoon. It might also be Alto Clef.
