I can't really help you, but have you asked Tim at Milkman for his thoughts? He builds cabinets as well, but they're hidden under the "Pedals and Accessories" section on his Website. The standard bass cabinet, 12-inch Eminence BP122, does sound "warm, fat, clear and (has) smooth fundamental tones" with my Fender CS '64 Jazz.
