Now for something completely different...Parrots (live ones, please)

We have a flock of parrots around Redondo Beach, CA, oddly. They are all green so whatever type that would be.

The parrots in Redondo Beach are mostly mitred conures, but the larger ones with shorter tails are red lorec amazons. Both are green with red on their heads.

I wonder what a parrot makes of his cage cleaner getting old and fat and dying while he is still middle aged? They are surely smart enough to have an opinion.

They also get old and fat and die. Just that middle aged people often get very young birds. We often get birds that deeply miss their previous keepers. That's why we try to place birds with people of similar age.
