The Behringer Brassmaster is finally shipping. I had pre-ordered one from Sweetwater, and the sales guy texted me and said they were in. I dropped the hammer, and it showed up yesterday. Had a gig last night, and it showed up after I left. Now my wife is asleep, so I haven't even been able to try it yet! Anyway, pics or it didn't happen.

I didn't get a pic of the silica gel packet, because I already ate that. Anyway, I'll check back after I've had a chance to plug it in, and see if I can find a use for it at church.

I went to a show at the Songbirds music museum last night and they had an original Brassmaster on display in the collection. It’s very cool how Behringer completely nailed recreating the aesthetics of this pedal.
As a major Behringer fan who owns many of their analog synth clones, I have nothing but the highest praise for them, even though they banned me from their Facebook page. lol. Anyone who hates on Berhinger is weird to me. They are putting out amazing gear at affordable prices. I love it.

This BrassMaster version is most certainly on my list to get soon. I have had a B2600 for a while and it is such a beast, they have been doing some interesting things lately.

Well, hate would certainly be pretty extreme. I bought a lot of Behringer stuff when I was still going to school, couldn't afford anything and, sure enough, each and every product developed major defects after some time. Then, when I finally could buy better gear I soon realized how bad the Behringer stuff sounded. I have since avoided Behringer wherever I can.

But, that was a long time ago. I keep hearing good things about their newer products and some of it (like OPs pedal) looks really great. Maybe times have changed and I need to give them another shot.

I would never say I hate a company like Behringer but I can definitely say I won't buy copy cat garbage made with less than premium parts from a company that doesn't give a crap about respecting the ones that developed them in the first place because all they really care about is profit. Uli Behringer never gave two ***** about honoring the actual device or it's developers, just about making money and the company still follows that pathetic ethos. No respect for dick riders or copycats that don't pay some respect to those that created some of this fantastic hardware, sorry not sorry.

Opinions vary on Behringer and I will certainly agree that they are certainly guilty for some cheapo crap. Their mission to bring rare and often unobtainable gear to the masses is spectacular, I love my B2600 clone as I have wanted my own for decades and some of their other offerings are very tempting. I am not ashamed to say I have gear from Behringer that has served me well in my studio and PA for quite a few years some of it on a daily basis. YMMV

I'd never hate on anyone buying their stuff either honestly, most of the time it is a piece of gear way beyond it's intended price range even used. I just know how I feel about the company and their products that I'll never own.
