NPD - Mike Inez Fishman Fluence

I see on their specs that the 4 string has a pole spacing of 49mm. Isn't that a little tight for standard Fender string spacing? Has anyone had an issue with E or G drop out?

The woodwork is done on my Spector. My buddy is now prepping it for paint. We decided to go Firemist Gold instead of Pelham Blue.
How are those for "hum-bucking" (extreme noisy stage environments, etc)??
Do they require a string ground?? (...thinking about possible application with nylon tapewounds...)

The preamp is very quiet in my experience however I am using roundwounds. A look at the wiring diagrams shows it does use a bridge ground.
Woooow. Very nice. I have a spector euro lx5 with an aguilar obp3 and EMG TWs soapbars in it. I can't decide if its good idea to switch them for INEZ. TWs don't have that low bottom of pbass pickup IMHO. Whats your opinion guys? Please someone, post some DI uneffected sound samples of INEZ pickup alone if its possible (only INEZ not that other one fluence pickup). It will help me so much.

I've planning to make a custom bass with a local luthier with Inez in it 
it will take some time, but we already have the hardware and the wood it will be a copy of a well known European brand I can share the pictures once it's done.

My buddy that was gonna paint it had to take a day job and has been swamped. Getting quotes on paint from two options.

Quick question are the Fishman pickups the same size as the EMGs 35 and 40 series models ? Or would I need to modify my Spector bass to fit the Fishman pickups ?

The 4 string Fishman pickups will fit EMG35 routs. I used another Fishman Inez set in the custom Jazz bass earlier in this thread that was routed for EMG35s and didn't have to make any adjustments.
