Just received my new pedal: the amazing Future Impact.

I had a Markbass Super Synth a few years ago, but it was a dificult pedal to deal. It only saved the presets with the computer and the editor was made for those guys that knew a lot about synth editing. I also had some dificulties with the levels and I could find a good setting at home but live it sounded lousy and unusable. I eventually sold it.

Then I got a SA Soundblox 2 Multiwave Bass Distortion that has some great synth sounds on its own but has limitations. I used also the octave/fuzz/modulation set on diferent ocasions.

But since I'll be starting a new project in October that will focus on 80's hits, I felt it was the right time to invest in a proper synth bass pedal.

I have high hopes on this pedal, considering the reviews and patched available. I only had time to play a bit with the available presets but they sound good so far. There's a lot of tweaking available and I still have to download the editor. The tracking is good. The build quality is ok, but the sticker feels kinda cheap. I wish it had a usb connector, it will be a pain to use with the computer. But I'm liking it so far.

Let the synth bass begin!
