I was ready to go Strymon, Eventide, Neunaber, or TC for modulation/delay/reverb, but none of them gave me the simple multi-slot utility box I wanted.
The MS-70CDR+ does.
6 FX slots, 24-bit / 128x oversampling A/D/A, 32-bit floating-point internal processing, quiet noise floor, compact size, and the iPad editor works.
Current mono recipe:
Peterson Strobostomp Mini → ToneX ONE → Zoom MS-70CDR+ → Broughton Studio Boost Mini
Strobostomp provides the buffered 5 megohm front end.
ToneX handles Noble / B-15 / Aguilar.
Zoom handles post-amp mono movement and space.
Broughton gives the final push.
Studio mono out: RME Babyface Pro Input 3
Live mono out: QSC CP12 - short TS 1/4" input A
Not on a board yet.
Emotional support cables only.
