New pug day! The Mrs and I drove over to Baton Rouge today to pick his little guy up from the girl who's been fostering him for the past week. We took our Pepper with us to let the two get acquainted on ride home. We'll be working on getting him used to his new name, Andouille, or Dewey for short.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I struggle with working TB on my phone. Too used to the computer, since I do most of my TB-ing at work. Fixed the pics. Sorry for my wife's stupid Instagram filter on the pic of both in the truck. This was about 30 minutes after we picked him up when we were heading home.

First night was a success, but he's having a little trouble with the stairs.

Animal Control picked him up and held him for 10 days, but no owners ever came forward. A local rescue foundation then took him in for a week before putting him up for adoption. We were lucky to get our request in when we did. We knew about him before he went on the rescue group's website, and once his details went up they had 50 requests for adoption in one day. They had to take him down because they couldn't handle all of the emails!
