We share a lot of love for similar gear. I have an SBMM, MXR M87 and probably have the same tuner. I was looking at the VT Bass but settled on the newer (at the time) VT Bass DI. Rock'em!

I wanted for a longtime the sansamp DI but i got a good deal on this old one. I'll take the time to try it...

For sure! You will probably like what it brings to the table as an always-on pedal OR, if you already have a great tubey sounding amp, go with an extreme setting for CRUNCH. My amp is solid-state and has a crunchy setting but I just love the SVT-like tone setting provided by the VTBDI.
