I recently purchased a Squier 40th Anniversary P bass with a gold anodized aluminum pickguard. I never could get used to the pickguard. I bought this pearl parchment pickguard off of Amazon for 18 dollars. Big improvement. Very happy with it. I looked for Squier replacements but every P bass replacement said it wouldn't work for Squier, including this one. I took a chance and it fit perfectly like it was made for my bass.

I dig it and am also not a fan of those rough edges gold guards!! Great looking bass you’ve got there!

Wow! This looks AWESOME! And I love the gold Relentless pickup! Making the pickup gold and then going with the pearl PG totally transforms this thing. Classy as hek!

How do you like the Relentless pickup vs the stock unit?

Nice. I’m not a fan of gold aluminum.

Thanks! It's louder and more aggressive. The only pickup upgrade that I've ever truly been impressed with is EMG Geezer Butlers.
