NPJD (New Paint Job Day)

...And I'm using "paint job" in the loosest term possible.

Long story short, this is what a can of yellow spray paint, zero patience, and just above freezing weather looks like on a black bass that was not sanded or primed.

I'd say it look pretty darn good taken the circumstances into consideration.

You got away with that pretty well, it seems surprisingly even, and I actually like that banana slug yellow color you chose.

I can relate to the zero patience regarding doing stuff on your bass, nearly ruined one of my basses on that account, was a miracle I manage to actually save it.

All things considered, not bad! I've done a few DIY refins, and between prep, painting, and sanding, I've invested untold hours in each one. This makes me want to do a quick and dirty one. Although I'd probably hit it with a can of clear before putting it back together...
