hi!
i'm new in the forum and my english is very bad,i'm sorry.
please,i bought a second hand electric upright bass ns design crm5 and I haven't the tools and the owner manual.
i would like know how changes the magnectics pickups heights,also how many electric 9volts piles has this bass?this one have only one.

at first thank you for your answer.
i tried all steps before,i sent a e-mail with the bass photos for ns design but I haven't nothing from they.
please if you have this instrument help me,I need know how the bass is wired for repair my bass.
I tried to add somme photo but like I'm new here I must wait for post the links in my posts.

I'm sorry by the double.

please help me ? possible someone would draw or write as batteries are soldered on electric circuit design crm ns upright bass . the bass I bought the old owner made a modification and the bass has only one battery I wonder how the two batteries are soldered into the circuit , so this is what I need to be able to use the bass with the maximum he can offer . thank you very much .

What modifications did the previous owner do? Isn't it likely he changed it to a 9v circuit? I doubt the original pre amp will work on 9v. If it still has the original citcuit the batteries will have to be in series, because it is the 18v that makes the difference. What exactly is the problem with the sound?

Matthijs I appreciate you become interested in my difficulty .
a battery was removed and in its place was put a plug for receiving an external AC transformer and thus the bass does not work positively .
the battery drains quickly.
so please if possible send me a drawing or a photography of how the batteries are soldered on the bass's electric circuit.

I cant help you with a picture or schematic. I do not own a crm myself. Probably the batteries have to be wired in series (one after the other, not side by side) the + from one battery is connected to the - of the other. The left over + and - are connected to the circuit.
