i use a cushy drum throne at some gigs because it collapses and it's easy to carry, but i have to admit: because i have no a$$, and because the one i have is older than rocks = i'm always on the lookout for comfy alternatives.

I use a exercise ball. Very comfy and works the core at the same time.

lately I've been literally sitting around the house for hours
since my new hobby is video gaming, I don't even need to get out of my chair
it might be to my benefit to get a more comfortable chair, but I want something with armrests & not on a swivel

I could have used a chair like that when I was playing, but at the time this is what I used:

It is called couch. Get that butt canyon going.
Mine makes the Wife and guest feel that they are on an edge about to fall in when sitting near my couch canyon.
