This was the follow-up to the show we did on Halloween, whereby the Post Commander and members of American Legion Post 139 asked the trio I was subbing with to play NYE.
The bandleader's in my 4 piece, but his music is largely different and he added a bunch of songs with which I was unfamiliar. We did a gig weekend before last and covered some of it, but I was still consulting my charts throughout the night.
The crowd was lighter than I'd hoped, but we got some of them dancing and I was reasonably prepared and comfortable with the material. Jerry did throw in a number of audibles which I didn't know, but he gave me a quick rundown, and none of them were YYZ, so no issues ensued.
Got paid, got home in one piece by 1am and no one was injured AFAIK.
As you might observe in the last screencap, I can be seen slyly referencing my copious charts and notes.

It was a fun learning experience.
