Observations from a recent metal show

Agreed, and I wouldn't be surprised if they make more selling patches direct than they would on a licencing deal. I played with a keyboard player that was buying synth patches on the R&B side of things.

But I figure it's a lot easier to pirate patches and settings than it is to pirate a signature amp or pedal.
Certainly, but when the price to do it right is reasonable there is less incentive to pirate.
 
Boy, I was just playing my homegrown "54" hardtail Strat (Alnico 3 pickups), through a modded Gibson GA-40 replica, and ... wow!

I'd sort of of forgotten how immediate and expressive thar sound is. Nfw I'm getting that from any modeler. Nope, just not there. Modelers have their place, certainly. But for the real thing, forget whatever else ... gotta have those tubes! :woot:
 
Run everything direct
