Speaking as a supporting member, I am very unhappy with the new, ubiquitous pop-up and window ads. Admins, hear me: the odds of me EVER responding to one of the ads is exactly zero. I have NO interest in the content of randomly generated invitations to join some shady online gambling operation (I have no interest, now or ever, in gambling), cosmetics or lingerie of credit cards or whatever you have sold your souls to. I'm mature enough that, when I shop, I am actively looking for a particular item, service or even annual percentage rate.

Don't make me quit Talkbass. I'm really annoyed.

Supporting membership does not remove ads. You can either pay for gold supporting membership or use an adblocker. I do not know what adblockers people use but there are always a few mentioned when this topic comes up, they all seem to do a good job.

If you do rage quit, don't do it in this forum. We like a good public rage quitting so everybody can enjoy it, not many see this forum.

If you have ANY popup or floating ir full screen ads you have malware on your computer. We run a leaderboard at the top and bottom. That's it. Plus the side bar on forum home page.
