Octave Pedal Question

The Micro POG is incredible when it comes to tracking. It'll track well when playing chords too. Name me an analog octaver that can do that!
That said - it's tone is not for everyone.
I currently have a foxrox octron2 on the way - and it'll be a fight to the death...
Wait and see which gets sold!

If you use a digital harmonizer like the EHX pedals (POG and HOG models) it will sound thin and ******.

I would like to contradict this remark. While I would agree that the POG/HOG octaves down aren't near as beefy as an analog octaver, they don't sound like ******. In my band, I can't use an analog octaver because they are too prominent a sound and distract from what my trio is playing. My HOGs octave down adds beef to my sound without the beef distracting the flow of the song.

I will concede that in other applications my Bass Micro Synth octave is a much better choice as I would want the beefier octave down, but not in my current band situation.
