I've been really enjoying the Creation Audio Labs' Grizzly Bass. Very pristine, hi fi sound from the pedal, and it does boost/very low level OD quite well.

That's become one of my almost "always on" pedals - absolutely love it.

For a clean boost, I use the MXR CAE Boost/Line Driver and it works great for that purpose. The best sounding boosty/gain pedals I've heard are the Wren and Cuff Phat Phuk B or the Southampton Fifth Gear.
