ODB3 mod, anyone done just C8 and R31?

Planning to mod when the capacitor arrives in post, but listening to examples it sounds like the C8 cuts some low end as well as that nasty fizz.

I haven't heard examples of just the R31 to hear it's own effect (just with the C10 mod too which I totally hate).

Isn't the experimentation part of the fun? Driving yourself crazy trying to figure out which mods to try is time not spent just trying the simple mods and then playing your bass!

It is, but I'm also aware R31 is in a real naff place on the board to remove and swap unnecessarily (or possibly to the detriment of the sound and have to do again).

I've heard what just C8 does already. And C10 and there's examples of it after C8, wasn't too unreasonable to ask if someone had just done R31 really or without C10 for comparison.
