Odd B String Tremolo Effect My Super 5

@Dr. Cheese, try playing a note and simply push down on the pickup to see if that makes the effect go away. You may have to push down on both at the same time. If that works, you have your answer.

Sounds like it's time for the good Doctor to do a little bench work…. I'd remove the strings and see what's going on under those pickups. Perhaps there is too much foam to lower them enough? Replace the screws while your at it too. Last thing you need are stripped screws on your pickups. Definitely think about new strings too. Fixing your problem is likely as simple as a string swap.

Yeah. That's not an easy fix. Well, I'd still take a look underneath of them.

If you're comfortable taking the screws out, you can rub the threads on some wax to help lubricate them. It helps to make the screws easier to turn (if that's going to solve the problem).

I checked string height and my B was actually lower than my E. I raised the B three turns and the tremolo dropped drastically. Thanks folks, as long as I have been playing, this should have been obvious!
