Double Bass odd-meter discography

Hello! I'm trying to compile a discography of records that have compositions utilizing odd meters. Preferably from an improvisation standpoint (I know that there is lots of great art music out there), but not necessarily a jazz stand point. Here are a few I've just come up with:

From a jazz satndpoint i'd say Take five and A child is born.

Gotta go with some Rush - "Time and Motion" was the first song to come to mind.

Porcupine Tree - pick any album and half of it will either be or feel like odd meters.

Some of Coheed & Cambria's stuff is in odd meters.

How bout... Tool? Every album has odd time signatures in it. Oh and Stay, from Victor Wooten is in 9/8 i thought, could also be 11/8. Well at least the verses.

BTW, there is an album recorded by a classical orchestra with tool songs. very interesting to listen to.

Switchfoot has two songs in 5/4 on their Oh! Gravity disc - I think both tracks switch to 6/8 during the song

Steve Coleman, Andy Milne, Cosmic Dapp Theory and Dapp Theory. The time signature revolves around African drum chants. CRAZY GROOVES!!!

Also the duo record with Dave and Steve Coleman, just bass and alto.

You can check my album "Clashes" released from my label Kayique Records. I have tunes in 9/8, 5/8 and 7/8. Actually, in one of the songs the melody is in 7/4 and the drums for part of it plays in 4/4 which is an interesting contrast...

Two suggestions from an indie/punk fan:

Anything by The Dismemberment Plan, and most things from Piebald (in either case, the earlier material has more obvious examples).

edit: I notice now that this is in the double bass forum, and neither of my examples feature double bass, but it seems that is the case for a lot of examples, so I'll let mine stand. I also wish to emphasize that any fan of weird music would do well to give The Dismemberment Plan a listen.

I don't know if you like Christian Metal, I don't anymore but Tourniquet had an album called Pathogenic Ocular Dissonence that is freaking MINDBLOWING when it comes to odd meter.

They were often described as "Beethoven meets Frankenstein"

believe it or not, the Grateful Dead played fluidly in odd-time signatures

(the live version of Uncle John's Band, the jam in D minor, springs to mind).

as others have stated, Rush has a great deal of odd-time tunes...
everything is in 7/4, 7/8, 5/8, 5/4

its down to reply#19 before someone mentions king crimson? any album will be filled with odd meters, but hte best is "Discipline".

In fact if you can figure out the times in "Indiscipline" you get the Gold Fripp award for odd time masterey...

my band squelch from the mid-90's did alot of odd meter
stuff - [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] - i love odd meters...
