Odd Peavey Question.

I was selling my 1995 Peavey Foundation 5 but I have have been offered a trade for an Ibanez SR1200 (I think its a 1994). I'm excited about the deal but it seems to be dependent upon the original retail price of my Foundation. (?!?) The person with the Ibanez seems to feel this is important to making the trade happen. I dont care what he paid, I just like the trade.

So my question...
Does any one know what the approximate retail on a new Foundation 5 was in 1995? Honestly, I dont recall 1995 all that well, let alone what I paid for this bass. I've spent half the night trying to find this info since getting his email asking me for the original retail but I'll be darned if I can find it. I emailed Peavey but I'm willing bet the kind members of TB can help.

The basses in question
And is it me or does the fret board look kinda dinged up? Should I be concerned...?

Generally what is more important is what are they worth on the used market.
I agree with Aspidtes-the original retail prices of these instruments is worthless to the deal.

Thats the only way it makes sense to me but hey, what can I tell ya, it seems to be important to him so...

I also have to say that I personally would rather have the Foundation but to each his own.
True but I got three more Foundations and I like the slim Ibanez SR necks (arthritis in me hands)

WE know that, but the seller seems hung-up on it (probably to keep his wife from killing the deal) so all the logic and common sense in the world isn't going to help the OP. He needs the MSRP ASAP.
Bingo! Mention was made of a wife.
And speaking of ASAP...
Post #9 might have the answer! Don't know how to link to the specific post but scroll down a bit... might be the 4-string though.

Talk about fast ModuMan, I'm humbled, and as whether that is for a 4 or 5, close enough for me!
