odd time sig and drum programmer

why is it that i cant find a drum programmer that lets me program with odd time sigs and then lets me switch to even time sigs without me having to change up the tempo.

i desperatly need a drum program software that lets me program in odd time sigs

something where i might actually be able to make measurs with time sigs on them...

You're looking for a program with comprehensive MIDI editing and sequencing capabilities. Or a full-featured sampler. I use Sonar 6, and don't have a problem programming wierd drum parts. Other, less expensive programs, will probably do the same thing, although I couldn't name one besides Cakewalk Home Studio.

That's assuming you're using software; if you're using a drum machine, get a MIDI interface for your computer and plug it in. Drum machines' built-in software generally isn't meter change friendly.

i dont have a machine, i need it programmed heh, money isnt an issue if it can do what i want it to

but, can i actually put in time sigs, and then change the time sig in the next measure?

iv checked out a lot of programs, but when it comes to actually changing time sigs, it gets lame on me...

i actually tried that out, and i cant make heads or tails of it... heh
it was giving me some thing about keyboards and midi controls or something

and im talking software, i need to program with software on its own with no help at all from drum related hardware

the drum machine is just a part of what reason can do, but the drum machine was the only thing that i could do with that program it's actually kinda easy if you sit down and play with it for a while

how do i actually program the drums?

its not like in fruity loops or beat craft where i just click the button on the time line, heh. it looks much more advanced, do u have like an aim name or msn, so we can talk about it?
