I've had my SVP-CL for a couple of years now, but with my new Nampeg SVT-410HLF I think I'm eligible for membership! Just got it yesterday, getting to try it @ band volume tonight :hyper: Hope I won't be too disappointed...

Oh, I hope you can see the cab with the maple thingamabob that always seems to pop up in my shots :hmm:

I had a B100r about 7 years ago and sold it to go on a tone quest which has now brought me full circle. I loved the B100r but, since I mainly play in my studio these days, I thought I'd give it's little brother a try. I recently came across a very dirty B50r at a good price and decided to pick it up.

For the genre of music I play, I do love this tone. :hyper: Even though it looked like it was rode hard and put away wet, it still sounded great.

So, after what my friends call the "BP Treatment", I present my little beauty.

Hello,
I just got my 64 B-15NC back from Gravity strings here in St. Louis. It now has a new set of 6L6 power tubes, a new multi cap, and a Webber Copper Cap rectifier, along with the Power transformer that was replaced two years ago. I put a Altec 421 8H Series II Speaker in it years ago so it sounds really nice. Kinda heavy, but it definitely has clarity that the newer multi speakers don't have.

Back in 1996 when I started playing again after a 15 year layoff, I bought a Blem B100R from GC for $300. I was surprised that it wasn't louder so I returned it. Turns out that my low output Charvel bass was responsible. Years later, after I had amassed a stable of amplification, I passed on a brand new B50R for just $156 at a GC List sale. I kind of regretted that. I also didn't buy the new B2 combo for (iirc) $279 at the same sale. Crazy deals that no one took advantage of as the gear went up to full price the following day.
