I really like the look of the metal grille on the Mesa cab with that amp sitting on it.
Some dollar store drawer liner would hold any pedals fast on the floor. You can cut it to the needed size.
Meh. I haven't seen much Goo Gone can't take off. Besides, the tuner is too light and gets tugged by my guitar cable when I'm 20' away.
I thought about screwing it down.
You could always hammer some spikes into the floor and weld the tuner case to them.

Once my tax refund arrives, I'm going to assemble a nice little set of Ludwigs around the world's greatest snare, my vintage Ludwig and Ludwig 3-ply snare with birdseye maple outer plies and mahogany as the sandwich wood, but with a twist...they're going to be what I call the Ludwig JimmyM Signature Ampeg Portaflex Drums. I'm going to find the cheapest beaters out of their high end Classic and Club Date drums that I can find, and wrap them in blue diamond tolex. Mark G has been super helpful in not only helping me believe I can do this when I'm not nearly the master craftsman that he is, but giving me pointers on how to make it look really spiffy and give it that Vintage Blue touch that he does so well. Just the same, I'm going to do a practice round on this cheapo DDrum snare I got. Always amuses me that I have not only the world's greatest snare but very nearly the world's worst snare, too
But the very most important thing above all else for this kit to truly elevate to legendary status is the look of the bass drum head. I had a very specific idea of using vintage logos that neither of them use anymore, and having them look like they were silk screened onto the grillcloth a la the old Ampegs of the 50's, and a little worn and faded over the years. And I didn't want to hire a graphic designer to do this since I'm very Photoshop-challenged and cheap. Besides, it's something that any idiot should be able to do with a couple mouse clicks.
So www.drumart.com has what they call the Headbuilder on their site, and it's a basic function graphics editor tailored to bass drums. I tried a couple things and didn't like anything I did (and the vintage logo thing ended up sucking anyway since none of them went well together), till I discovered that they had a transparency control that blends the background into whatever logos or lettering you choose. Totally made the lettering look like it was silk screened onto the grill cloth. YES! I took a very hi res closeup of my cab's grill, which is a little smaller than 22" so the stripes will be a little wide, and I'm going to sit with it a few days before committing, but so far, this is the version that I like the best:
This is just a screengrab so it's lo-res, but I think it's going to be awesome. And DrumArt will apply the artwork to the head of your choice (mine is a smooth Remo Ambassador, thank you), and cut a port hole if you wish, and for the head I want, it's $100 + shipping. Funny thing is, if you don't want the DrumArt logo on it, it actually costs you $5 But while they've been awesome and answered my emails in a very short time, I have to consider feng shui, and their logo is an outlier. So is Remo's and their logo actually looks good. If you all have any ideas on how to improve it, I'm about it, but I am really happy with it. If it was offset away from the head, I wonder if grille cloth will billow when the drum is hit. You could glue it directly onto the head. Design always takes iterations. Lots and lots of iterations.

New Ampeg Portaflex user here. In a smaller way, true. But still here, and enjoying it...
My new Ampeg PF350 head came today. Ratings? -Both great, and only fair...
The only fair: I can see why some bassists criticize this little amp. It's plenty loud enough for me, but I think if I were trying to use it on the stage of a big room with loud rocking mates I could be disappointed in this amp. It would probably need to be cranked up to the max to cut thru, and even then maybe... But then at a $1.00 a watt price, one shouldn't expect a stadium filler in a box, right?
And the great: Wow! Who knew I was an Ampeg sound person? I always before bought the bit about "this amp is transparent and will show you the true sound of your bass". {Certainly my ultra light (2lbs) TC Bam200 amp is like that}. But I guess Ampeg and the PF350 don't wanna show me the "true sound" of my Mustang, instead maybe they're showing me what a Mustang bass should sound like!
After unboxing the PF350 today I quickly hooked it up, plugged in, adjusted the EQ, hit that E string, and WOW! -Beautiful full, deep, warm tones floated thru the house! The Stang never sounded so good! Even the 'ol lady, who pays little attention to my playing, exclaimed "Hey, -that sounds nice!!"
So forget that true sound 'transparent' stuff!
I now fully dig whatever the hell Ampeg calls what they're doing to my bass! (~Enhancement, maybe?) -Next comes trying it with my Cat bass. -Now that should be a ball with all the Cat's tone options.
But sheesh, ~now it's also gonna cost me more $$. ~I can see it coming... Soon's I finish paying for the PF350 my current 2x8 and 1x10 smaller cabs are gonna get some strong competition from a new Portaflex 112 cab. I gotta hear how that sounds...
BTW, I love the PF350's cool little purple 'on" light...

Congratulations on the new amp. Hope that you enjoy it.
One feature of Ampeg amps the perhaps sits well in your ears is the James tone ciruit. BTW, the EQ is flat with the knobs at noon which is different than a Fender type tone stack.
Those drum heads reminded me of these PA speakers...

Ampeg is certainly well represented. I couldn't lift those cabs onto the two stands.
I wonder, how many Ampeg amps fit in a station wagon?

Those "pa" speakers are actually a repurposed pair of PF112HLF's (not too heavy David). I installed speaker stand inserts in the bottom of them - they really make fine sounding pa speakers - very articulate. The two PF112's combined with my PF-50T are still my go-to upright bass rig - but the dual purpose 112's allowed me to sell my old dedicated pa speakers to make space in my studio.
Other Ampegs on stage include a B15R (wife on bass) Jet-20 and a 1976 ampeg pa head - which still works great!
Unfortunately my beloved old Buick station wagon was smashed to smithereens at a stop on a freeway by a high speed cell phone user in an Escalade

Those "pa" speakers are actually a repurposed pair of PF112HLF's (not too heavy David). I installed speaker stand inserts in the bottom of them - they really make fine sounding pa speakers - very articulate. The two PF112's combined with my PF-50T are still my go-to upright bass rig - but the dual purpose 112's allowed me to sell my old dedicated pa speakers to make space in my studio.
Other Ampegs on stage include a B15R (wife on bass) Jet-20 and a 1976 ampeg pa head - which still works great!
Unfortunately my beloved old Buick station wagon was smashed to smithereens at a stop on a freeway by a high speed cell phone user in an Escalade

It looks pretty good and would be nice if it were available. I always wondered if Yamaha would bring out an amp with that vinyl.
