Looks like a B-15 stack. I wonder if it was backline supplied or belonged to another band on the bill. The Vox with the chrome stand looks like an AC100.

I would like a number! Here are two of my favorite rigs. The third favorite is my Sunn 200S which is from 1968 and was owned by the bass player of Soup, a damn good band from Appleton, WI!

If I could only have two amps, they would be a tweed Bassman and a B-15. Very nice.

Thanks Beans OT....I've have been so lucky to have found them. The 5F6A came from Minneapolis in 1998 and the B15 came to a music store in Wisconsin just this past Summer. THE Sunn 200S has been with me since my second band in 9th grade!

Just noticed the Tele with the Charlie Christian and what looks to be a Bill Lawrence...nice! Build it yourself?

The Tele was built by Danny Gaton's guitar tech, Jay Montrose, just after Danny died. Jay went into business with his company Vintique, which this guitar is. It's called a DG5394. It has the Joe Barden pickups. They were a pair from the prototype group built for the Fender Gatton model....according to Jay. Jay did not make the AAA Birdseye maple neck....he used a Warmmouth neck. All else was built by him.

A tele and country music go well together. I have a reissue '52 and love it. It feels really good in the hands. You can peel paint with the high end that it puts out.

The 210 would likely be slightly louder, but don't be looking for a miracle. It'll be a slight bump but nothing major. Now run it in an 810e, then you'll get a miracle Beans' advice is also pretty good.

I was getting a vibration in the room that my B-15S is in last week so I took it downstairs and ran it through one of my squareback SVT cabs to make sure it was nothing in the head, man did that thing sound good going through that big cab! The rattle did turn out to be something in the room, so that was also good.

I have a PF 20T, that is primarily for home use. My question is what is the best speaker cabinet to pair with it. Because of the low watts, I need an efficient cabinet to get the most volume out of it. I would really like to get the Fearful 12/6 but don't think I have enough power to push it. I don't want to drop that kind of money if I don't have enough power to coax a decent volume from it. The lower priced options I am looking at are the PF 115HE or PF210HE. Would one of these be louder than the other with a 20 watt head? Thanks in advance for any help.

A 12/6 will be just fine. I gigged one with my PF50 and it was great!! I use the SVT212 with it and the volume output seems to be on par with the 12/6.

For home use, id go for the 115HE. For live, id go for 2x115HE.

Trying out a new PF500 & 210HE setup for in house use in my recording studio. Got a good deal on it new so said what the heck. I like it so far. It has recorded well in sessions.

I think the 500 is a fine little amp through any cabinet. I use one for rehearsals/jams and as a backup to my V4B. It's actually gotten more compliments than the V4B. Maybe I'm doing something wrong!

All these small amps are great for studio recording. The cabinets really shine. There's something special about a smaller sized amp in a room. And these amps work really well with guitar.

Is that a D28? What kind of strings do you use?

Agreed! Same reason Clapton uses a Fender combo amp with a 1x12 in the studio and gets a monster sound. It works great for the environment. Yes it's a d28. I use medium gauge Elixir Nanoweb Phospher Bronze on it.

I just tried a set of Martin SP Lifespan light phosphor bronze on mine and found them to not have the tonal qualities and balance of the Marquis bronze lights that I've been using. I'll keep them on for a while and see if they break in but I was wondering what else to try. I'll take a look at the Elixir Nanowebs. Thanks.

I've never cared for Martin's strings. The Elixir's have been lifechanging for me. Great tone and last forever. Can't remember the last time a string broke either.
