I tried, and became totally enamored with a wet/dry setup. For me, it's cleaner, louder, and gives me some flexibility. I was lucky that I had enough gear laying around to give it a shot without buying stuff. After I tried it with the gear I had, I went out and bought matching amps(GK MB800's). I have plenty of cabs laying around, and since I'm a huge proponent of matching cabs, I pulled my Ampeg PN-410's out of storage and put them in service, which means putting my beloved BTII on the bench. I am not happy about that. My dilemma is...
I gotta buy another BTII! It's awesome and it sucks at the same time. Plus, I need to figure out how to get them to stack horizontally. Metal corners and handles on the sides is gonna make this challenging. Any thoughts, other than ripping the handles off??
