I'll 2nd the od light blinking is okay. If the clipping light is blinking all the time that isn't something.you want to continue playing for a long period.

You definitely have more headroom with that setup from your pic Tim.

I owned all 3 subway heads and now own a forte HP. IME the HP has much more presence, girth and clarity and cuts through a loud heavily distorted guitar mix well. My bandmates noticed I am heard much clearer now.

Just to be clear, it is the output light on the right that is flashing. Sorry if I confused things.

I have 2x210s and I can never run the bass that hot, with warmoth 32" P-bass with Geezers. I realize you're using a different cab, so grains of salt.

I'd start with the contour pushed up to 1/2 or more and then add back any mids that may have been cut to taste.

Not based on experience with that cab, so again YMMV.

Good point about the low mids, I will bring them up and try a bit more hpf too. Don't get me wrong, this rig is doing the job but I sense the cab will take more power than I can currently throw at it. I want to keep this as my lightweight rig, but I do not think there is another class D amp option that would make a significant difference. The BB2 sounds great with my Orange AD200 and Aguilar 751, but these are not lightweight heads.

Another cab IMO is your solution if you're digging the tone. And as you know there is no way any single 12 on the planet will keep up with 6 - 10" barefaced speakers.

Yep, I certainly am not expecting it to match my Six 10. I do not want to add another cab as I want this to be my small and lightweight rig. The mesa sounds great with the BB2, and it may be that I just have to accept that this is what it is as I do not thing there is a class D alternative that is significantly more powerful. Just want to have the potential to get as much out of the BB2 as it can give, just in case....

I tried what you're doing when I got the WD800 with the BB2. I even started a thread looking for the highest powered 8 ohm class D amp before the HP came out. At the time I had the Two10s on order because the One10 is so great. When I got the Two10s I realized it wasn't an issue with power. The BB2 was just too neutral for my liking and throwing more power to it would be just throwing more money into a rig.

I've said it here before, the Two10s is the best lightweight cab I've ever owned. I also own Berg HDN's which have their applications, but any of those cabs on their own can't touch the Two10s for me. People are blown away that's all I'm using when there's no FOH support. The dispersion is the best I've ever had with this cab.

Bass is boosted and no idea if his bass is hot within the signal as well. I agr

The forte HP will certainly give you more than the 800+. That head is remarkable!

Totally agree. I also own a Two 10, Four 10 and One 10 :D

Thanks for all the advice, I have it pretty well sorted now. I went back to the manual's recommended settings for fingerstyle and tweaked from there. Main thing seems to be that I had the high mids boosted but set around the 500/1k mark. Once I sorted that things fell into place, plus I brought the hpf up to about halfway which gave me quite a bit more headroom with no noticeable effect on tone. Great cab, great amp, bring on the weekend:bassist::hyper:
