I'm right there with you. I have a One10T I ordered in July and a BT3 I ordered a few days later in August that I'm waiting on. Gigging is just about done for the year other than a Veteran's Day gig we have and a NYE gig. But I'll be ready come spring...I hope.
The tweeter integrates smoothly in the Two10ST. It really makes a difference in the slap tone. I'd like to see a similar video with a SuperTwinT to hear the tone difference with a tweeter.

Sure I get that. But what confuses me is surely the SC enclosure is closer to the BB2 than the SM. So it is strange that the SM would make a better pairing with the BB2 than the SC...

Oh Man! That sure would cover most gigs. I did an outdoor gig with just one ST with Traynor YBA-300. The cops came twice to turn us down due to complaints almost 1 mile away. They were hearing the Bass!
The Traynor was barely cranked and it was loud as heck keeping up with stoopid-Loud Drummer. Hartke and Avatar Cab were just for Show/Backup. Never need to turn them on. The Supertwin is one of the top 5 best sounding Cabs I ever played through. With the Big Twin3 being on a whole other level.

Personally I would not drill into my BB2. If you want a handle somewhere else. I would use strong Velcro or some adhesive.
I am looking pretty hard at the Super Compact (NO tweeter which is fine by me) and have heard the demos of it. Impressive, and I am a die-hard 15" guy.
It's pricey though. Before I pull the trigger can anyone think of any other 1x12" cabs out there with NO tweeter, and similar footprint? I've been looking at all the other suspects - Schroeder, Berg, Ampeg, Eich/Tecamp, Mesa, Raezer, Genzler, etc. Everything seems to have a tweeter slapped in there, I just never have need them.

I wouldn't drill into my BB2 either. The SuperTwin is the easiest to move cabinet I haver ever owned due to the light weight and built in wheels. Despite being smaller and lighter my BB2 is clunky to carry. It usually gets moved using a dolly or handtruck. The new BB3 cabinet was redesigned to not only be easier to carry but so it would stack better on the other 12" cabinets.
Do you find it that difficult to carry? I usually one-hand mine, but I usually only take one at a time when gigging my pair because they're wide and awkward when carrying one in each hand.
No I haven't. There are handles on both sides of the cabinet so it won't lay flat horizontally. They sound great side by side but stacking them saves a little floor space in the rehearsal room.
I could definitely get by with just one, but I have been running a wet/dry type setup with my dirt, effects, etc. and obviously, more is more.
