Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

Anybody order a One10 Activier yet? Im srsly considering one
I don't think that Barefaced has communicated about an Activier option for bass cabs yet, except today on Facebook:

But yeah, the Activier is available for One10(T) cabs.

It's a great option when you are looking for an active bass cab, but it's too bad it's not available for 12XN cabs… yet?

Yes.

What makes you think there's a big difference? For me, the Super Compact is the best cab in the world, I wouldn't trade mine with a BB3. It's plenty for my needs too, and I like the tone so much that I don't see how I could prefer the BB3. More extended lows and highs would be too much for my taste.

I went from a Super Midget to a Super Compact T to a BB3. While the first 2 cabs are pretty awesome the BB3 is in another class above. By far the best cab I've ever played through, and Ive played through a lot.

I prefer the lightness & compactness of the SC; plus I don't need the HF driver.

The Super Mini is OK, but a bit compromised as to total output compared to the other two 1x12's.

Wow, that's quite the testament. Would you care to elaborate? Is that tone, dispersion, power?
The BB3 & BT3 aren't very voiced IMO. They put out what you put in and get that tone very loud. One persons best may be a very colored Cab and we all have different ears. I like to think my BT3 is the best Cab ever made and I'll have it forever. But I can't speak for everyone else.

This makes me think it's too bad that Barefaced only proposes the Activier option for the One10 currently, because One10+Activier+TopHats options looks like a perfect mini PA system, but the One10 is a colored cab (not ideal for a PA).

So I'm sure there's a great use case for the One10+Activier, but it's probably not optimal to use as a mini PA. Let's wait for the upcoming "full run down of how these can be best utilised".

My guess: I'm sure it would sound great with a tube preamp pedal (Sushi Box and the like), maybe even an active bass directly?

I'm looking for real-world feedback on the Super Mini T but don't see this cab discussed that much.
Can you offer some?

Compact, loud, and uncolored are the generalities I get from the various descriptions.
I'm looking for something more neutral/clear sounding than my One10T but with a similarly great output/size ratio.
The SM wattage is plenty for my recreational needs.

In case you don't know it already, this video helps understanding the difference between all their small cabs:

Barefaced did offer an active cab a few years ago. It was the "FR800", a BB II with an 800 watt amp inside. IIRC Alex discontinued it because the module he was using became unavailable. Google "Barefaced FR800" and you'll find some info.
I still have (and love!) the FR800 I reviewed back in 2018. Great cab!

That was a great comparison! All of the cabs sounded great in their own right. Based on that video, I think my favorite was actually the One10T. That being said, the BB3 is probably the closest to my FR800, which I know and love. Still, that One10T is very impressive!
