My 10CRās have a 15 feel to me, in the best way.
I had an early version of the 210. Iād expected 310 is quite similar with more output potential. Itās a lovely cab.
I had a 210 and for some reason didn't gel with it.
I now have a 310 and adore it. Couldn't tell you why exactly... but it seems to have more heft, little more authority. Punch?
Have the matching 110 also. Both with tweeter but usually rolled off, figured why not get it
My armchair guess is that the slightly bigger cabinet size might contribute to the difference. Iām basing that on my experience with the SC and BB2.
Interesting that you went for the 310 given your experience with the 210. If I was still jamming with friends or gigging Iād certainly give the 310 a look, though the 210 was capable of enough output for my needs.
I thought that the 210 had one speaker running full range while the other was low passed (so they could be stacked horizontally with no comb filtering) while the 310 has all 3 speakers running full range? If so, this along with the taller 310 format would sound noticeably different.

I recall reading how the Two10 had a filtering design at some point. I'm not sure if that changed at some point.

Does anyone know when Barefaced is likely to update their "current production status" note? The latest one is dated November 18.
That's kind of my situation too, except mine is a one10.Hope they update the status soon. Thereās a new 310 order in the cue as of yesterday
so this is the case with the three10 as well? I wonder if it's one or two of the tens running full range.
Thatās a fair question. Obviously doesnāt apply to the One10. But the Three10 is different from the 2/4/6x10. If I understand the video correctly the point of the crossover is primarily to improve performance when the cab is in the horizontal orientation. I would imagine a Three10ās lack of rubber feet on the side means itās intended to always be vertical, which might eliminate the need for the crossover based on the orientation of the drivers. Hopefully Alex will chime in and set us straight. Or one of the Three10 owners could crack the cab open and investigate the guts.
I got my cab before it was due to be built, and the explanation was āhe was on holidays and he updates that part of the websiteā.
Just ordered the 310 before EOY in my quest to find something that sounds similar to my Ampeg 410HE (the sealed / non-ported one) without the weight. For context, I also bought the Ampeg Venture 410 last year (42 lbs!) and it sounds fine, but lacks the character of the 410HE, so hoping the Barefaced gets closer in sound.
