Highly underrated delays! I've had two, and they were hard to let go, but I couldn't justify it as I already had plenty of other delays and hardly use it at all...FX90! Aug of 1985.
Finally got one and it's awesome.

Though my absolute favorite delay is the Rubberneck. I will NEVER use all of its functionality, but it's an amazing piece of gear nonetheless.
What is the result of the mistake? Like what does it do, or not do, to the tone of the pedal?backwards on a resistor doesn't make any difference, but yours has the incorrect value (200 ohms) too, like many, if not most of them do. the factory schematic says that it's supposed to be a 5% 1K resistor. (color code: brown, black , red, gold). whoever built them must have confused it with a 5% 200 ohm resistor (red, black. brown, gold).
i makes the pedal's distortion brighter than it was designed to be. the funny thing is, i changed mine to a 1K resistor (as the factory schematic states) and i actually preferred the sound of the "mistake" resistor and changed it back on mine.What is the result of the mistake? Slowly building my DOD collection. Picked up the FX65 for $15, and the FX10 for $40. I really dig the FX65, very different from my CE-2, and the trick with the outputs is very cool. Still want to pickup or build a 690 Chorus. Going to build some modded versions of the FX10, I absolutely love the circuit, as well as modded 250/FX50. Also have the Digitech Tone Driver, a highly underrated unit!

The "trick" is to plug only into the secondary output, which will result in a pretty subtle thru zero flange effect on certain notes. It seems what that note is can vary based on the component values of the specific FX65, but there's videos about it on youtube.I know it's been a couple of months since you posted, but if you see this, what is the trick with the outputs on the FX65? I'm curious, because one of these pedals is on its way to me. Thanks for any info you might have, D.M.N.
On the topic of the thread, I'm a DOD fan. I have an FX75-B flanger, FX25-B envelope filter, and an FX20-B phaser.
