Official EBMM club thread! part the 2nd.

This Bass was always to pretty to be played. I miss her, but I'm glad she has a forever home. Dan if that ever leaves your home, let me know. I want first stab at having her back.

Erin

Hey my friend!
Ya know she really is "too pretty to be played".
I barely play this Ray or the Ice Blue BFR Ray.
They are case queens without doubt.
I know some people subscribe to the idea if it does not get played sell it...But not me.
I take them out and play them here and there.
They are the last two Rays I have left.
Betting they are lifers.
BUT?
If I ever let it go, you have Dibs for sure bro! :D

Sadly putting this up on the block for sale.
One more sharing of it while it is still mine :(

I bought a new Stealth Sterling H today, and the GC salesman told me that GC was dropping EBMM. He didn't specify if it was just his store or all of them across the board, but I understood his tone to mean all of them. He claimed it's because they just don't move enough of them to make it worthwhile. It's certainly possible that he was blowing smoke during the sale, but all the EBMM guitars that were there two days ago were gone. And they have had the same 5 Stingray 4s and 5s for 6 months.

I don't want to be an alarmist, but does anybody know if there's any truth to this rumor.

BTW, this is my third Sterling. There's something about them that keeps me coming back. :bassist:

No idea. They are quite high end, so perhaps the everyday bassist doesn't reach for them for a normal bass, if you get me?

Shame....I imagine GC are a large buyer of their gear. I'm sure EBMM will be fine though...they always have a waiting list!

Same thing here. There were 3 classics left. They are on clearance. I was told that that at this particular store, they would no longer be a Music Man distributor. They just don't move enough of them.
