Official: Fender Roger Waters P-Bass!!!

I think that's pretty cool, dig the hardware...but, I thought he had a '75...headstock spaghetti logo?
Not a big fan of black basses, but it was about time Roger had his own signature bass. The price point leads me to believe it is made in Mexico.
It doesn't seem a whole lot different than most other P-Basses with the exception of the Seymour Duncan pickup.

I'm not very impressed, always thought his had the 70's logo, not a black bridge and a 3 ply pickguard, and not those pickups.

Even though it's not 100% faithful to his actual bass it is based off of, it still looks like a cool bass.

My thought as well. Other than it being black, what is so "Roger Waters-ish" about it? I mean really........
What is so different about Roger Waters' P-Bass that they give him a signature model anyway? Assuming all he ever used was a simple Precision (from what I know), there is not much point in giving him a sig, other than honoring him and cashing in on his name along the way.
No disrespect, but if a sig is not faithful to the player's bass, there's not much point in it, in my opinion. I think you'd be better off buying a MiM and slapping a black 3ply on it, the quarter pounder too if you dig it...
