seems lamar always has some nifty gear for sale. i dig the mpg/lightwave, it sounds great; i'd love to pick up a j from matt. unfortunately it weighs a ton and i've been having some back problems, so its on the block.

Hey all,

I just picked this awesome fretless cort curbow 6 from Ryan Berry that he defretted himself!
I also got a hartke 3500 from him. He is a standup guy and great to deal with (And this defret job is phenomenal)

Haven't done any major dealings with Tb'ers but I've bought a guitar distortion pedal from Mike Money and an envelope filter and a couple sets of strings from Funkster. Both deals went down with no problems, both great guys to deal with.

I didn't see this the first time around.

I've sold a sum total of two Ernie Ball cabs... the same two Nick mentioned. I bought them at a ridiculously low price off eBay from the Casey Ball Foundation and sold them to Nick for the same price shortly after I received them

I'm guessing the resemblence shouldn't be too surprising... it's not like they came in different shapes or colors

Well, I do not have any pictures, sorry.

I bought a really nice Hartke 210 Combo from waxcomb. He was a super cool dude, and easy to deal with. I got exactly what he described.

I also bought an Eden 410XLT from Zharlon. I pick it up Friday, but he has also been super cool to deal with. I am confident I am getting what he described. He is letting me come do a soundcheck with it before I take it home.

I also sold my SWR rig to TB user Milo Desmoband (I think is the name?) He made the drive from Salt Lake City, UT, to Nortwest Ohio to pick it up!!!!

Lessee what i remember:

- Traded an Ibanez ATK300 to malabito for a Line 6 BassPod that has worked out wonderfully for my purposes

- Traded an MTD Kingston to Flatwound for a Cort Curbow 6 that has been awesome

- Bought a Stagg-n-Backer off of someone on this board, but then sold it. It was a good buy and a fair deal - I just didn't really need it.

- Traded my Trace Elliot AH600 to (I have forgotten the user name ) for a Sunn 1200s and that has worked out well.

- Traded a Warwick Fortress fretless for a SWEET handmade 5 string.

In every case, the seller/trader was easy to work with and the deals were solid. Not 1 complaint.
