That is just FLAT OUT GORGEOUS! WOW!

That may be the colorscheme that I'll have to go with if I ever get a Glaub 5er. Although, I'm gonna ask to get a MM pup squeezed in between the bridge and guard.... don't know if it'll fit well .

I think it's exactly in the Stingray sweetspot.

The Lakland basses with numbers as names have a specific pattern. The first or first 2 digits are the numbers of strings. The more important number is the last part of it. It's the year the original bass was released.

4-63 = 4 string jazz style bass
55-76 = 5 string Stingray style bass
The 94s, 01s, and 02s were all Laklands own, and those were the years those basses were first made.

Whoa - your comment about the knobs made me go look at that Bass again, only because I changed the knobs on my departed 55-94 a few years back....just so happens I sold mine to a guy in San Anselmo CA...I'm 99% sure that 55-94 was mine..Trippy Tis a nice Bass!!

I agree about the recession.

Now that I have my Skyline JO5 CS, I am gassing so bad for another Lakland. These are all coming up at once, including the 55-02 fretless! Arrggghhhh....

But all things must wait for me until we hear on the LOG bass!

OK, maybe it's just me, but since the announcement of the BG5 as the possible LOG bass, I've practically stopped looking at the basses section of the classifieds (and that's saying A LOT, since I usually obsessively look at it about 100 times a day, lol). OK, carry on.....
