I would love to have one! At this point I think I'd have to order a Skyline, which would probably be fine. I'm thinking I want to stay with an Active instrument though, but I could be wrong. A Passive JO "Hell to the Yeah" might do the trick. hmmm 5 string Black and Maple!

I know what bass you are looking at! Yes...is a very cool one!

I thought it was funny. I don't even know what requests you made--but if black hardware was one of them, I think it's been said like 100 times in the Lakland threads that people can't even get it on U.S. basses. Maybe if your first name is Adam and your last name is Clayton.

Absolutely! I'm thinking of trying a Jazz Bass of some sort. I may shoot myself if it sells.

I took my Fralin loaded JO5 to rehearsal yesterday, and man does she growl! I noticed a little less "uuummph" on the lower notes (D down to B) but that growl was NICE and more than made up for it!!!

Yeah...there is just something that always brings me back to a J bass. Still my favorite tone. My JO growls liek a dozen and a half angry shepherds of the German variety.

yea... I'm with you all there. I've tried the Decade, a 4-94, a 4-76 (have fun with it Ferg), a glaub (which I would still like), and several other styles from other makers. Still, the jazz-style bass is where it's at for me. I think my DJ-Sonic Fretless will have plenty of umph, and my other jazzes will round out the group. The only thing missing would be the darkstarred Jazz. I just get nervous with the installation compromising my Tracy's natural tone.
